Planning your big day at the beautiful Merriscourt Barn?
I am very proud to be one of a handful Merriscourt Barn recommended photographers.
I have popped this post together to compile some of my favourite Merriscourt wedding moments over the years. I adore working here - you can always be sure of an epic party! I hope this gives you some ideas and inspiration ahead of your big day!
The pump rooms make for a great bridal space to get ready with the girls. It has everything you need - like a quaint little country get away venue, with a mezzanine - it’s adorable. Handy to just have the registrars pop by before the ceremony and then nip across to the main barn when its time to say I do’s!
and not forgetting the boys! There are plenty of on site accommodation options for everyone - one of my favourites is No3 - a home I would just love to move into - it’s stunning! Talk about kitchen goals :)
Time for all the hugs, kisses, champers and canapés!
The grounds make a beautiful back drop for those family shots - these are all prepped before so its no fuss on the day, they take about 20 mins max!
Then time for some newly wed portraits! The options are endless for Merriscourt Barn wedding photos - the land surrounding is all so picturesque and you can make the most of the shepherds huts, the barns and the cottage gardens too!
I always love seeing how the white barn is decorated for the wedding breakfast. It’s a huge space, seating up to 150 with some fabulous pieces of art on the walls too!

Then onto the announcing of the new Mr & Mrs, along with some fantastic speeches..
The only part of the day I don’t photograph is the main wedding breakfast - obvious reasons! This is my time to get a bite to eat myself and also back up the photographs so far from the day.
Then once the formalities are over, you lead on to an epic evening with your loved ones.. I love that there is no turn around time at Merriscourt - because of the two barns, the day just flows into the evening really nicely, without any turnaround times to worry about.
