Your Cripps Barn Wedding Photography
Cripps barn is another Cotswold wedding barn favourite - an 18th century barn surrounded by open countryside.
Starting the day at one of the barns many recommended cottages/ BnB’s - the preps begin..
After a couple of hours of bridal preps, I will head over to the barn to get the shots of your guests arriving and the Groom and his boys. This is all very relaxed, nothing is posed - that last half an hour goes so quickly - always plenty of lovely shots to get here! Then straight into the brides arrival, and into your ceremony. I always position myself at the front with you, (but nice and discreetly tucked into the corner so as not to be a distraction - even when the fires lit!!) :)
And leading onto confetti and all those cuddles and congratulations from your loved ones!
The barn really lends itself to relaxed and informal gatherings - the patio opens out on to the garden which means I can circulate the crowds effortlessly, making sure I don’t miss any of the good stuff!
The little wooded area at the bottom of the lawn, and the grounds to the side make for some really lovely portraits of just the two of you as newly weds..
Cripps Barn provides an epic backdrop for those shots with your loved ones too..
Once the group shots are done (usually a maximum of about 20 minutes) I will then get all the empty barn shots of your wedding breakfast set up, before your guests come in. All those little details and the cake..
On to the grub - Cripps Barn food never fails to impress! It’s making me hungry just thinking about it..
The great thing about Cripps Barn is it is epic in all seasons! If you are looking for the quintessential cotswolds wedding venue to have a summer wedding - perfect. You can enjoy that patio and grounds all night long. If you are after a cosy winter wedding, again, perfect as you can light those fires and get those sparklers going! I have shot in all seasons at the barn and can honestly say, I thoroughly LOVED every one of them!
