A super busy summer - 2019 updates!

Wow, what a summer we have had!

35 weddings have been shot so far this year, all over the Costwolds and further afield; as far north as Alton Towers and all the way down to Surrey! 9200 miles driven, 26297 images delivered and I thought it would be a good time to do a little summer summary!

When things quieten down a little I shall pop each wedding on the blog in more detail!

In other news, I am very nearly booked for next year, with 9 slots free (I am only accepting a limited amount of weddings each year to ensure quality and not to burn myself out - don’t wish to be greedy!) :) So please do enquire if you are interested in booking me for your photography. The 2021 diary is now open too and filling up nicely, I will be opening up to 2022 bookings in January of next year.

Featuring Kingscote barn, Whatley Manor, Merriscourt Barn, Lords of the Manor, Gate Street Barn, Clearwell Castle, Cripps Barn, Alton Castle, Stone barn and Tortworth Court.

Lords of the Manor Hotel - Upper Slaughter

I had the pleasure of shooting at the stunning venue, Lords of The Manor earlier this month and I am so excited to share that they have selected me to be a recommended photographer.

Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter, provide a select number of premium weddings throughout each year. When I first moved down to the Cotswolds 6 years ago, this was one of the first venues I went to visit. It took me 6 years to finally shoot there, but it was definitely worth the wait! I am there again another three times this year so looking forward to sharing more images from those :)

Whatley Manor!

I am chuffed to be now on the recommended Suppliers list for the gorgeous Whatley Manor. I have had the pleasure of shooting here a couple of times this year and excited to be working with the venue more in the near future.

Located on the edge of the Cotswolds, a beautiful country manor house set in 12 acres of gardens with 26 individual themes, including a stunning Rose garden that creates a perfect back drop for your wedding day - it really is a photographers dream and I am very lucky that it is right on my doorstep!

If you are holding your exclusive wedding at Whatley Manor and would like more information on wedding photography, do drop me a message - I would love to hear from you!

Flo & Ash - Kingscote Barn

Flo and Ash had their fabulous wedding day at the end of May - I cant believe how quick this summer is whizzing by, it only feels like five minutes ago that we were chatting over plans last year!

The day was absolutely perfect - I loved documenting their day, so many little nods to their awesome characters! It was an absolute pleasure to witness these two get hitched - as always, I love to just let the photos do the talking, so here are a few from their awesome day!

I just had to share this lovely review they left me also, messages like this really make my day!

“When my husband and I were considering our wedding venue at Kingscote Barn, it was Courtney Louise's portfolio that sealed the deal for us.
Therefore it was no surprise that we wanted the photographer behind the portfolio that had made our dream venue look so desirable.
From the initial booking to the wedding day itself, Courtney was a dream to work with. She put myself, my husband, bridal party and lovely guests at ease throughout the entire day, capturing the most amazing "in the moment shots".
The fact that she also knew the venue like the back of her hand, meant she was able to take us away at specific parts of the day to ensure we were able to capture our Forever Photo.
If I could do the day again (which believe me, I wish I could) I would hire Courtney again and again.
Thank you for a wonderful experience and allowing us to immortalize the wonderful memories.
With huge thanks,
Flo & Ashley

Helena & Dan - Ellenborough Park

A gorgeous day on the blog today, the beautiful wedding of Helena & Dan at Prestbury church followed by a reception at Ellenborough Park. I loved this day - it was such a pleasure to get to know these two and I was so chuffed receiving these lovely words after the day;

We used Courtney for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. We picked Courtney as we loved her style of photography and was able to carry out documentary-style photography, as we are not too keen to be in front of the camera posing.

Throughout our wedding day, Courtney was excellent putting us at ease and adding a sense of calm to the day. We didn't even know she was there for the majority of the time.

Personally, Courtney is just lovely and though we hadn't met before our wedding day, we felt like we knew her for ages.

We have just received our photos now and couldn't be happier. We were always worried we wouldn't like the photos, as we don't like be photographed at all, but Courtney has caught all our best sides. We are absolutely chuffed with what we have and the memories that have been captured.

I would thoroughly recommend Courtney to anyone.”
